Service description

canstats.ca provides access to Statistics Canada open data through visualizations, AI search, and data tools.

Account terms

• You are responsible for account security.
• One account per person.
• You must be at least 13 years old.

Acceptable use

• Respect rate limits and do not scrape aggressively.
• Do not attempt to re-identify individuals.
• Do not use the service for illegal activity.
• Do not resell raw API access.

Data accuracy disclaimer

Data is provided as-is from Statistics Canada. Validate critical decisions against the official source at statcan.gc.ca.

Intellectual property

Platform design and software are owned by canstats.ca. Statistics Canada data remains under its open licence.

Payment terms

Paid plans are billed monthly or annually, cancel anytime, and do not include prorated refunds unless required by law.

Termination

We may suspend accounts for abuse. You may delete your account at any time.

Limitation of liability

Service is provided as-is without warranty. We are not liable for decisions made based on the data.

Governing law

Province of Ontario, Canada.

Changes

We will email registered users about material changes. Continued use after updates indicates acceptance.
